The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobsen dives in and scores a takedown into Jones's guard.

Jacobsen wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position.

Jones is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jacobsen won't allow Jones to sweep him here.
Jones is pulling down on Jacobsen's head. It's preventing any offense from Jacobsen, at least for the moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jacobsen manages to get himself to full guard.
Jones wants to control from the top but Jacobsen keeps moving.
Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Jacobsen wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Jacobsen lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Jacobsen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jacobsen moves away.
Nice straight punches there by Jones. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jones.
Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jacobsen pinned against the cage. Jacobsen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jacobsen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jacobsen defending well as Jones loads up on a big left hand.
Jacobsen is looking for a counter combo.

Jacobsen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jacobsen manages to avoid it.
Good standup being displayed there by Jones as he connects with a hook.
Jacobsen rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jones has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jacobsen uses from the top position.
Jones looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Jacobsen is defending well. Jones quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jacobsen has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Jones celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
