The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Pancake gets caught flat footed, as Snowstrinski shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Snowstrinski perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snowstrinski seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pancake for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Snowstrinski is trying to control the action in half guard but Pancake is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Snowstrinski seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Snowstrinski is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
