With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Johnson Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 74 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mariusz Pudzianowski! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pudzianowski throws a leg kick but Johnson Jr moved away. That kick from Pudzianowski tenderised Johnson Jr's leg. Johnson Jr is trying to keep his angry face on. Johnson Jr takes a swing at Pudzianowski's ribcage but misses. Johnson Jr throws a jab when Pudzianowski was well out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson Jr sitting in guard, not really doing much. As Pudzianowski looks to move away, Johnson Jr throws a big counter combo but Pudzianowski just gets out of the way. James Johnson Jr is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pudzianowski lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Johnson Jr has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Johnson Jr and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Johnson Jr has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. He's got his arms around Johnson Jr's waist but Johnson Jr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pudzianowski off to one side. Pudzianowski tries a low kick but Johnson Jr avoids it. Pudzianowski lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Johnson Jr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Pudzianowski wants to control from the top but Johnson Jr keeps moving. Pudzianowski might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Johnson Jr haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

And that's the end of the fight! Mariusz Pudzianowski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pudzianowski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
