Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Tseung (ranked 3003 p4p, 3028 weight class) and Ryota Fukado (ranked 351 p4p, 354 weight class). Tseung comes to the cage accompanied by Kacey Talk - NBA Youngboy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinji Tseung! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryota Fukado! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fukado shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tseung pinned against the cage. Tseung gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Tseung has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fukado finds it's way round the side to connect with Tseung's head. Tseung shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fukado napping and manages to drive through into side control! Tseung misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Fukado takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Fukado looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Tseung tries to stand but Fukado is controlling his head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tseung is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fukado knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Tseung wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fukado keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fukado is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Tseung's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Tseung is pressing down on Fukado's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fukado is holding on for now. Fukado moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Tseung wants to control from the top but Fukado keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fukado has a closed guard, preventing Tseung from standing up. Fukado is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Tseung wants to control from the top but Fukado keeps moving. Tseung throws a strike but Fukado rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Fukado advances position into side control! Fukado wants to stand but Tseung has his arm trapped.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tseung is trying to get back to half guard. Fukado is working Tseung over with some ground and pound from side control. Tseung looking for a sweep but Fukado has passed into full mount! Oh no! A nice elbow there by Fukado. Fukado controlling the pace for now. Tseung tries to hold on but Fukado postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tseung is looking to improve his position but Fukado isn't that keen on the idea. Tseung is working hard here to advance position. Fukado putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Tseung reaches up to try and control the position but Fukado seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Tseung rolls and tries to escape and now Fukado has his back!
Tseung is in bad spot here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fukado controlling the position well here. Tseung rolled but Fukado kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ryota Fukado dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Tseung looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fukado is fending him off so far but Tseung persists. Nope, Fukado circles away and we're back to standing. Tseung blocks a head kick by Fukado.
Fukado darts in and clinches Tseung up against the cage. Tseung looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Fukado pulls guard. Fukado has a closed guard, preventing Tseung from standing up. Tseung tries to free his leg and advance position but Fukado is retaining full guard. Fukado bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tseung's guard.
Fukado has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tseung controls Fukado momentarily but Fukado frees himself. Fukado tries to free his leg and advance position but Tseung is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tseung trying to keep a closed guard but Fukado is proving a slippery customer.
Tseung wants to improve his position but instead Fukado has moved into half guard.
Fukado sitting and controlling from the half guard. Fukado wants to pass the guard but Tseung is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tseung is looking to improve his position.
Fukado tries to stand and escape but Tseung is controlling the position. Ryota Fukado has got the better of the ground game so far. Fukado controlling the action here. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fukado looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Fukado is stalling in the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We've been hearing good reports from Tseung's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Tseung controls Fukado momentarily but Fukado frees himself. Fukado controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Tseung escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fukado gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fukado stands up over Tseung, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Fukado tries to free his leg and advance position but Tseung is retaining full guard. Fukado stopping the sweep attempt from Tseung. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fukado wants to stand but Tseung has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fukado closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fukado lands in his opponent's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ryota Fukado showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Tseung moves into the clinch. Tseung blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Tseung swings wildly with an uppercut but Fukado uses good head movement to avoid it. Fukado has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tseung avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Fukado lands a left hand that snaps the head of Tseung backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fukado breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tseung wants to clinch up but Fukado keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tseung throws a nice outside leg kick. Fukado cracks a nice hook into Tseung's ribs. Fukado throws a leg kick but Tseung sees it coming and moves out of range. Tseung tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fukado swivels and escapes. Fukado misses with a head kick.
Tseung fails to land the takedown. Fukado lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tseung backs up against the cage.
Tseung throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fukado's waist but Fukado gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tseung off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shinji Tseung. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fukado avoids the head kick by Tseung.
Fukado changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tseung looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A lull in the action here as Fukado stalls from top position. Fukado looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Tseung is avoiding damage well.
Fukado has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Tseung! Tseung tries to hold on but Fukado pushes him away. Fukado controlling the position easily from mount. Tseung is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fukado content just to control the position here. Fukado fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Tseung tries to lock up and control but Fukado gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Fukado landing shots from mount. Tseung is bucking up trying to escape but Fukado cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Fukado raining down shots from the mount! Fukado wants to get back to his feet but Tseung is holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fukado looking to control and managing it successfully. Let's hope that Fukado has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Fukado is landing with some decent strikes but Tseung is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Shinji Tseung has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ryota Fukado is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fukado tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryota Fukado comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fukado has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
