The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsuzaka is looking to land body kicks.

and Matsuzaka counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Monkey throws the left hand but Matsuzaka avoids the punch easily.

Matsuzaka throws out a loose jab but Monkey uses good head movement to avoid it.
Matsuzaka feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Monkeys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Monkey needs to keep his hands up - Matsuzaka had a free shot at his head there.

Monkey fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Matsuzaka.

A little feinted left hand from Matsuzaka on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Monkey sends Matsuzaka crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Monkey is motioning to the referee to let Matsuzaka up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Matsuzaka is rocked!
Monkey throws an uppercut from hell that sends Matsuzaka clean off his feet! He's out cold! Monkey stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
