Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Dos Velas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dos Velas comes into the arena with Four Noble Devils blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George Dos Velas! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Seth Morrow! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos Velas lands a head shot. Dos Velas thows a body shot but no joy. Dos Velas thows a left - swing and a miss! Morrow takes one to the chin there. George Dos Velas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dos Velas scores with a body shot.
Nice defenses there by Morrow. Morrow moves out of range of the strikes. Morrow shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Dos Velas tries to land a sweep but no joy. Morrow pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dos Velas is keeping the position for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dos Velas punching to the body, from the bottom. Morrow cracks Dos Velas with a solid left hand. Morrow content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Morrow lands a couple of elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dos Velas avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dos Velas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Morrow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Morrow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Morrow working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dos Velas's head. Morrow trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Morrow distracts Dos Velas with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Morrow scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Morrow's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Morrow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dos Velas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morrow has managed to get both his arms back between Dos Velas's legs - danger averted. Morrow throws a big right hand that misses. Morrow looking to pass the guard. Dos Velas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Morrow can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Morrow postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dos Velas is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Morrow, into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morrow lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Morrow has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Dos Velas should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Morrow has tightened it up now! Dos Velas should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
