Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Ngono (ranked 3277 p4p, 4850 weight class) and Marcus Dowling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcus Dowling will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dowling fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Ngono shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dowling shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ngono eats them both and turns towards Dowling to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Joseph Ngono has been cut.
Dowling swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dowling lunges at Ngono with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ngono's hand.
Ngono misses with a double jab.
Dowling tries to bum rush Ngono with a series of wild strikes but Ngono uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ngono feints and as Dowling raises his hands in defense, Ngono changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

As Dowling looks to move away, Ngono throws a big counter combo but Dowling just gets out of the way.

Ngono tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dowling sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ngono somewhat.

Ngono fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dowling has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Ngono shoots in but Dowling avoids the takedown attempt easily.
