Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tai Kong (ranked 25031 p4p, 2587 weight class) and Too Young For Island (ranked 470 p4p, 274 weight class). Tai Kong has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Too Young For Island!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong blocks a leg kick.
For Island throws a sloppy head kick and Kong moves out of range easily.

For Island closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kong's guard.
Kong wants to stand but For Island is controlling the position.
For Island pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kong is keeping the position for now.
Kong wants to stand but For Island is controlling the position.
Kong trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
For Island working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kong's head.
For Island throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
For Island wants to control from the top but Kong keeps moving.

Kong pushes For Island off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Kong manages to break the clinch.
For Island throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
For Island loads up on a big right hand but Kong slips the punch.
It looked like Kong was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Kong tests For Island's chin there with a solid looking shot.

For Island shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
For Island not landing any meaningful shots this time.

For Island tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kong knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
For Island seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
For Island is taking a breather. Kong says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Kong manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. For Island keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Kong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
For Island is trying to force a seperation but Kong has the dominant position.
Kong goes for a takedown in the clinch but For Island prevents it.
Kong jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as For Island walks away with a smile on his face. Kong gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Despite the aggression on For Island's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
For Island changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kong tries to avoid it but For Island manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kong to the ground. Kong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
As For Island looks to move away, Kong throws a big counter combo but For Island just gets out of the way.

Horrible takedown attempt by For Island or perhaps it was just good defense by Kong, which made it look bad.
Kong lands a head kick. For Island smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
For Island fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

For Island changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kong tries to avoid it but For Island manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kong to the ground. Kong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kong rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but For Island moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
