Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Augier De Rabat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Lukas Haley!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Rabat shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Haley is trying to defend but De Rabat finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
De Rabat trying to control the action but Haley is working from the bottom.
The fighters are battling for position here. Haley manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
De Rabat is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Haley looking for a guillotine here but De Rabat defends easily.

Haley looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but De Rabat puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Haley regains full guard. Nicely done.
De Rabat throwing strikes from guard but Haley blocks nicely.
Haley keeping moving, preventing De Rabat from controlling successfully.
De Rabat looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
De Rabat passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Haley is looking for a sweep.

De Rabat tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no De Rabat has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
De Rabat wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Haley, who protects the arm well.
Haley tries to buck De Rabat off but De Rabat is having none of it.
De Rabat wants to lay and pray for a moment but Haley keeps working.
De Rabat wants to control for a moment but Haley uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
De Rabat landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

De Rabat is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Haley has managed to free his arm - good work.

De Rabat has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Haley defend it? De Rabat steps over the head and cranks it - Haley is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for De Rabat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Augier De Rabat!
Augier De Rabat decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
