And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Rechers!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Bruno Hogan and Ron Honeybunn.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parks scores with a jab to the jaw.
Rechers slips a jab and a cross from Parks.
Parks lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rechers backs up against the cage.
Parks connects with a body shot.
Parks lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rechers at a distance.
Parks lands with a good body shot.
Parks lands a slapping body shot.
Parks cracks a nice hook into Rechers's ribs.
Parks misses the shot to the body.
Rechers is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Rechers has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Parks finds it's way round the side to connect with Rechers's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Parks cracks Rechers with a right hand to the side of the head.

Rechers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parks as he jumps to the side.
Parks lands with an uppercut that bounces Rechers off the cage and back into range.
Parks lands a nice shot that snaps Rechers's head back.
Parks darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Rechers takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Parks connects with a jab.
Parks lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Parks tests Rechers's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Parks is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Parks connects with a crisp jab.
A jab from Parks finds it's way through Rechers's defenses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Parks lands with a right hand.
Parks scores with the left hand. Rechers knows he should have avoided that one.
Parks dips to his left and cracks Rechers with an uppercut!

Rechers walks into a left hand.
Parks's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rechers under the eye.
Rechers takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Parks lands an overhand right.
Parks scores with a nice strike.
Rechers walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Parks lands a jab to Rechers's midsection.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rechers.
Parks scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rechers doesn't seem bothered though.
Parks connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Parks keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Rechers tries to move into range but Parks moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Brody Parks dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Parks lands with a straight right. Rechers didn't see that one coming.

Brody Parks is winning the standup battle so far.
Rechers on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Parks throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Parks cracks Rechers with a right hand to the side of the head.
Rechers is still on wobbly legs! Can Parks finish him?
Parks connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rechers momentarily.
Parks looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Parks drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Rechers right on the button. Rechers goes down! Parks follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Parks gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brody Parks!
