The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Cap felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Doe is persistently looking for the submission but Cap is defending it well.
You can see the frustration on Cap's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Doe's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Cap might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Doe haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Doe has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
