The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
San moves into the clinch.
San is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Soderberg gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
San drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Soderberg gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Soderberg tries to pull guard but San holds him up against the cage and eventually Soderberg drops back down to his feet.
San is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Soderberg pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Soderberg is trying to drag San to the mat but San just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
