Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Askren (ranked 1338 p4p, 1547 weight class) and Chilli Bloke (ranked 104 p4p, 122 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 24 - 1, fighting out of London, Jake Askren!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chilli Bloke!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askren closes the distance and clinches up with Bloke, looking for a takedown. Askren pushes Bloke against the cage but Bloke circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've been told by Askren's head coaches at Shut Up & Train! that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

It seemed like Bloke was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
