Showgun comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sandstorm kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Banderleii Showgun will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Horrible takedown attempt by Showgun or perhaps it was just good defense by Manaitpasov, which made it look bad.

I was talking to Manaitpasov's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Showgun uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Manaitpasov.
Showgun walks straight into a right hand from Manaitpasov - that's dropped him! Manaitpasov jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Showgun from any more punishment! Showgun complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
