Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gabrijel Pavicic (ranked 2578 p4p, 3809 weight class) and Andrew Okwi (ranked 323 p4p, 450 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gabrijel Pavicic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andrew Okwi!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavicic just misses with a punch to the body.
Pavicic has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pavicic there as he acknowledges the shot.

Pavicic fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Okwi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Okwi might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Pavicic has got the better of the exchanges.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Okwi in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Pavicic fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Okwi to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Okwi looks to clinch but Pavicic throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Okwi taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
