Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Randall Dean!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jones.
As Dean tries to get set, Jones tries to push him back and clinch up but Dean manages to avoid the attempt.
A shot to the body from Jones misses
and Dean counters with a nice uppercut.
Dean cracks Jones with a right hand to the side of the head.
Dean tries a head kick but it misses.
Dean lands a jab to Jones's midsection.
Jones misses the body punch
and Dean counters with a stiff right hand.
Jones tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dean defends well and Jones ends up having to push Dean into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Jones is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Dean is defending well.
Dean blocks the elbow strike.
Jones pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Dean lands a shot to the body.
Jones fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones misses with an elbow over the top.
Dean gets through Jones's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Dean misses with a body punch.
A short body shot lands from Dean as the two fighters clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dean tries to work over Jones's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dean cracks Jones with a nice body shot.
Dean lands a shoulder strike.
Dean tries a body shot but Jones blocks it.
Jones fails to pull guard.
Jones tries to throw a body punch but Dean avoids it by throwing Jones back against the cage.
Jones pushes off an throws an elbow but Dean leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Dean lands a body punch in the clinch.
Jones looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Dean lands with a short shot to the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Dean.
A right hook to the body lands for Dean.
Jones struggles to land a body shot inside as Dean controls his hands.
Jones tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dean smiles and moves away.
Good standup being displayed there by Dean as he connects with a hook.
Dean just misses with a punch to the body.
Dean misses with a two punch combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones misses with a hook. Dean ducked under it nicely.
Jones has his takedown stuffed
and Dean cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Dean drops Jones with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jones looks back up at him and smiles so Dean waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Jones is rocked!

It looks like Jon Jones has been cut.
Jones looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Dean shows good takedown defense.
Dean throws out a counter right but Jones avoids it with no problem.
Jones throws a right hand that misses
and Dean counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A low kick lands for Dean.
The fighters circling - Dean throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dean misses with an uppercut.
Dean lands a jab.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Dean saw that one coming.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dean.
Dean lands with a right hand.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dean drops Jones with a huge uppercut! Jones drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Dean is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randall Dean!
During a confident post fight interview, Randall Dean thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
