Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Hong (ranked 2670 p4p, 24858 weight class) and Micah Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Micah Kim!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kim misses with a combination
and Hong counters with a left and a right that stings Kim.

Hong closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kim tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hong just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hong gets through Kim's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Kim drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kim tries to work over Hong's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Hong scores with a shot to the side of Kim's head.
Hong scores with a nice hook to the head.
Kim should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Hong lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kim fails to pull guard.
Jonathan Hong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Micah Kim.

Kim manages to break the clinch.
Kim lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hong circles away quickly and effectively.

As Kim looks to move away, Hong throws a big counter combo but Kim just gets out of the way.

Hong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Hong creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Hong lands a hook that snaps the head of Kim backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hong lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Kim to his knees! Hong keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
