Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Do Souza shoots in and gets a takedown into Mmm's guard.
Mmm knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Do Souza on the ground.
Do Souza controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
It looks like Do Souza might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Do Souza wants to pass the guard but Mmm is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Do Souza accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Do Souza connects with a couple of short punches.
Mmm can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Do Souza controls the pace.
Do Souza lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Do Souza is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Mmm avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Do Souza is stalling in the full guard.

Do Souza gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Do Souza scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Do Souza has hold of Mmm's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Mmm seems comfortable defending it but Do Souza has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Mmm is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Mmm is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Do Souza couldn't care less - he's delighted!
