Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Badr White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathen Ficco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from White.
White has a takedown stuffed.

Badr White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Ficco counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in White's guard now.

White tries to keep at a distance but Ficco has taken the fight into the clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

White drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and White jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
White trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Ficco wants to sweep but no luck.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A head kick by Ficco misses
and White counters with a left and a right that stings Ficco.
Ficco throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ficco tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but White swivels and escapes.
Ficco clinches up with White and pushes him back against the cage.
Ficco manages to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonathen Ficco dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
White darts in trying to clinch
and Ficco counters with a leg kick.
Ficco gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and White counters with a big head kick but Ficco shrugs it off.

Ficco lands an elbow inside.
Ficco is working for takedown but White is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ficco is pressed up against the cage. White has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ficco down to the mat. Ficco avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ficco keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ficco avoids the head kick by White.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ficco looks to land a combination but White avoids it well.
No luck for Ficco with that takedown attempt.
Badr White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonathen Ficco.
Ficco clinches up against the cage.

Ficco pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ficco swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and White counters with a shoot takedown. Ficco fights it but they end up in guard.
Ficco is trying to keep White in close.
Ficco is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ficco wants to control position but White is using a can opener to pass guard... He's turned it into a full on guillotine from mount now! Big trouble for Ficco here! He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.
