Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Winter Panda (ranked 1022 p4p, 993 weight class) and Gavrilo Jovanovic (ranked 148 p4p, 140 weight class). Gavrilo Jovanovic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Winter Panda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gavrilo Jovanovic!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Jovanovic finds it's way through Panda's defenses.
Panda throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jovanovic counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Panda counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jovanovic won't be happy with that.
Panda cracks Jovanovic with a big right hand but Jovanovic just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Panda throws a strike aimed at the side of Jovanovic's head but Jovanovic avoids it well.

Jovanovic is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Panda in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Jovanovic is not content to let Panda control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Panda landing strikes.
Jovanovic gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Panda pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Panda unloads with some shots from mount but Jovanovic bucks and avoids them well.

Panda wants to control the pace but Jovanovic is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jovanovic sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Panda thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jovanovic's head.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Panda lands a nice short elbow.
Panda is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Jovanovic slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Panda avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Panda is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Panda might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jovanovic keeping moving, preventing Panda from controlling successfully.
Panda knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jovanovic on the ground.
Panda won't allow Jovanovic to sweep him here.
Panda trying to control the position from guard on top but Jovanovic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jovanovic is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Panda rolls with it to try and escape but Jovanovic cranks on the arm and Panda is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
