Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dezzi Island (ranked 2376 p4p, 2842 weight class) and Kukina Maluga (ranked 302 p4p, 345 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maluga throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Maluga slips under a jab.
Maluga looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Maluga looks to land a left hand but Island moved out of range nicely.
Maluga lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Dezzi Island has been cut.

Maluga takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Island misses with a looping left.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Maluga! But no joy.
Island uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Island cracks Maluga with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Maluga shoots in for a double leg but Island sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Island uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Maluga.
Island seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Island misses with a looping left.
Island throws a lazy right hand but Maluga sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Maluga closes the distance and clinches.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Maluga creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A nice left hand lands by Maluga.

Island is rocked!
Island takes an elbow to the temple.
Oh Island is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maluga unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Island! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Maluga is unloading with more strikes now! Island drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
