Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montes throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Montes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Montes wants it to stay on the feet.
Montes fails to land with a series of punches.
Adams fails with the takedown.
Adams looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Adams tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Montes swivels and escapes.

Adams is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Montes knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Montes for a finish.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
