Giant has chosen Lollipop - Lil' Wayne as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jukkalainen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jukkalainen slips under a jab.
Jukkalainen connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Gentle Giant has been cut.
Giant feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jukkalainen sprawling to the canvas! Jukkalainen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Giant finish him?!

It looks like Risto Jukkalainen has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Giant circles away from the clinch attempt.
Giant blocks a leg kick.
Jukkalainen tries for a takedown but Giant sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nice takedown defense from Giant. No joy for Jukkalainen on that attempt.
Jukkalainen misses with a takedown attempt - Giant sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Giant decides to return to a standing position.
Jukkalainen walks straight into a right hand from Giant - that's dropped him! Giant jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Jukkalainen from any more punishment! Jukkalainen complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
