Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Manduano (ranked 4650 p4p, 25279 weight class) and Lars Plazibat (ranked 317 p4p, 384 weight class). Lars Plazibat will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lars Plazibat!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Manduano. No joy for Plazibat on that attempt.
We've been hearing reports that Manduano has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Plazibat looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Manduano feints and as Plazibat raises his hands in defense, Manduano changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Manduano is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Plazibat has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Plazibat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manduano. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
