The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Paragua tries to avoid it but Cruz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Paragua to the ground. Paragua escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Paragua looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Cruz rushes Paragua and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
