And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bongolongo Gayman!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gayman lands a big head kick that sends Mate tumbling to the mat! Gayman takes a step backwards and waves Mate back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mate is rocked!
It looks like Lester John Mate has been cut.
Mate looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mate takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Oh Mate is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mate stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gayman.
Gayman closes the distance and clinches.
Gayman is leaning against Mate and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gayman breaks from the clinch.
Gayman seems to be stalking Mate here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastating head kick! Mate drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
