Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Dowling (ranked 5506 p4p, 5051 weight class) and Tate Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rush has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tate Rush!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dowling misses with an uppercut. Rush saw that one coming.
Dowling misses with a body kick.
Rush flicks out a counter leg kick but Dowling steps away.
Dowling misses with a double jab
and Rush counters with a thumping low kick.
Dowling scores with a nice head shot.

It looks like Tate Rush has been cut.
Rush looks winded!
Dowling scores with a kick to the midsection.
A head kick misses from Dowling.
Rush feints a counter leg kick.
Rush avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dowling misses with a body kick.
A combination from Dowling does no damage.
Good leg kick by Dowling.
Dowling misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rush.
A little jabbing left from Rush on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Dowling lands with an uppercut that bounces Rush off the cage and back into range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rush blocks a jab.

Dowling drops Rush with a beautiful combination! Rush stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dowling is looking for the KO!

Rush is rocked!
A looping hook to the body misses from Rush. Dowling does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rush is still on wobbly legs! Can Dowling finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rush takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dowling throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rush seems to have recovered his senses.
Dowling scoring well with a low kick there.
Dowling fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rush manages to avoid it.
Dowling pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rush showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dowling.
Rush gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Dowling points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Rush wakes up just in time to hear Dowling thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
