Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgregor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Vedoy defends well and Mcgregor ends up having to push Vedoy into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A nice side step and Vedoy releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Vedoy has Mcgregor pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mcgregor manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Vedoy prevents Mcgregor from breaking the clinch.
Vedoy is trying to pull guard but Mcgregor turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Mcgregor has had enough of the clinch but Vedoy keeps him there for the moment.
Mcgregor is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Connor Mcgregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boru Vedoy.

Mcgregor pulls guard successfully.
Mcgregor looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Vedoy puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Mcgregor wants to stand and escape but Vedoy is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcgregor controls Vedoy momentarily but Vedoy frees himself.

Vedoy postures up and lands a big shot to Mcgregor's brow.
Vedoy works over Mcgregor with some ground and pound from guard.
Mcgregor has momentary wrist control but Vedoy slips an elbow through the middle.

Mcgregor is rocked!
Vedoy loads up on a big left hand. Mcgregor felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Vedoy looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Mcgregor can't hide his disappointment, as Vedoy celebrates the victory.
