And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunga shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Oumardipov sprawls well. Oumardipov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brunga gets slowly back to his feet.
Brunga shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Oumardipov napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Oumardipov gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brunga is looking to stall here but Oumardipov recovers full guard.
Brunga content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Oumardipov has locked up a guillotine! Oumardipov's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Brunga is holding on here and Oumardipov must be using up a lot of energy. Brunga has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Oumardipov gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

A very excited looking Felix Oumardipov rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
