The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
AliKhan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
AliKhan's coach down at Casa Steel was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on AliKhan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Nucombe throws a lazy uppercut
and AliKhan makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Nucombe really felt that one!
Good exchange - AliKhan coming out on top.
Nucombe misses with a lunging right hand
and AliKhan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A slapping leg kick lands for AliKhan.
Nucombe misses with a body punch
and AliKhan counters with a nice right hand that sends Nucombe toppling to the canvas! Nucombe scrambles and gets back to his feet - can AliKhan finish him?!
Nucombe is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
AliKhan fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Nucombe square on the jaw! Damn, Nucombe is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
