PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dio Delle Donne (ranked 4161 p4p, 4216 weight class) and Augusto Erfuc (ranked 0 p4p, 394 weight class). Erfuc has chosen Cuchillos Guantanamera as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erfuc closes the distance but Delle Donne moves to the side
and Delle Donne counters with a lovely shot to the body.

and Delle Donne counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The crowd cheers as Delle Donne lands an impressive looking overhand right. Erfuc doesn't seem phased though.

Erfuc shoots for a double leg takedown but Delle Donne sprawls well. He's pushed Erfuc's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Delle Donne uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Dio Delle Donne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Augusto Erfuc.
Erfuc switches off momentarily and Delle Donne cracks him with a monster right hand! Erfuc topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Delle Donne dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Delle Donne!
