Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luis Caixinha (ranked 3925 p4p, 3472 weight class) and Jaiden Montgomery (ranked 435 p4p, 393 weight class). Caixinha has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Jaiden Montgomery will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montgomery throws a hook but Caixinha blocks it.
As Montgomery tries to get set, Caixinha tries to push him back and clinch up but Montgomery manages to avoid the attempt.
Montgomery throws a big shot that misses.
Montgomery has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Caixinha takes the fight into the clinch.
Caixinha tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Montgomery smiles and moves away.

Caixinha drives through and clinches with Montgomery against the cage.
Caixinha definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Montgomery fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Caixinha tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Montgomery just stands there and leans against the cage.

Caixinha jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Montgomery walks away with a smile on his face. Caixinha gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Caixinha has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Montgomery uses from the top position.

Caixinha looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Montgomery has picked Caixinha up and slammed him! Caixinha can't keep hold of the triangle and Montgomery manages to pass to side control!

Montgomery has knee on belly momentarily but Caixinha bucks him off and regains half guard.
Montgomery prevents Caixinha from improving his position.
Caixinha has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Montgomery is working away from the top position though.

Caixinha is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Montgomery is tapping! Great win for Caixinha!
