Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Swinzey Mckinney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Landin Durham!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durham with a poor takedown
and Mckinney counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mckinney cracks Durham with a right hand to the side of the head.
Mckinney scores with a nice strike.
Durham tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mckinney swivels and escapes.
Durham looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mckinney leaves Durham with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Swinzey Mckinney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Landin Durham.

Durham shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Durham prevents Mckinney from improving his position.
Durham is thwarting Mckinney's attempts to control the position.

Durham is trying to work for a kimura but Mckinney is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mckinney tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Durham manages to move to mount!
Mckinney definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Durham jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mckinney manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Mckinney can't do much from the bottom here.
Durham tries to move to mount but Mckinney blocks the move with his legs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Durham wants to control but Mckinney is keeping him busy.

Durham tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Durham has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Mckinney wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Durham has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Mckinney's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Mckinney is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Durham!
