Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Larry Pindleton (ranked 1882 p4p, 1667 weight class) and Kona Kush (ranked 151 p4p, 134 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kona Kush was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kona Kush!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kush misses with a straight left.
Pindleton circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kush lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pindleton backs up against the cage.
It looks like Larry Pindleton has been cut.
Kush showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pindleton.
Kush lands with a shot to the body.
Kush looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A punch combination from Kush misses.
Kush scores with a decent looking hook.
Pindleton feints a jab promting Kush to slip. Pindleton then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kush slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Kona Kush has been cut.
Kush connects with a body shot that sends Pindleton's belly button to the back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kush swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Kush throws out a counter right but Pindleton avoids it with no problem.
Kona Kush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pindleton throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
As Pindleton backs off Kush throws a huge counter combo but Pindleton manages to avoid it all.
Kush will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Larry Pindleton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sloppy strikes from Pindleton. Those never looked like landing.
Kush lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kush lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kush.
Pindleton is rocked!
Pindleton gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Kush gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Pindleton is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kona Kush!
Our winner, Kona Kush, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
In defeat, Larry Pindleton stepped up to the mic, saying 'He did his thing and was the better fighter today. Props to him, next time I come out I will just have to do better.'.
