Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uche Igwe (ranked 676 p4p, 799 weight class) and Lou Parisini (ranked 39 p4p, 48 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Uche Igwe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lou Parisini!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parisini dives in and scores a takedown into Igwe's guard.
Parisini stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Igwe swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Parisini works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parisini tries to pass to full mount but Igwe defends it.
Parisini is trying to control the action in half guard but Igwe is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Parisini is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Parisini is looking for a kimura but Igwe is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Parisini to get the leverage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Igwe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Igwe pushes Parisini against the cage. Igwe is working some dirty boxing. Igwe pushes off with a quick right hook! Parisini goes down! Parisini tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Igwe moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Uche Igwe!
