Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ezequiel Eaton (ranked 3826 p4p, 3473 weight class) and Marquise Rush (ranked 443 p4p, 414 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush scores with a hook.
Eaton avoids the body shot from Rush.
Eaton has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Freaky Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.

Eaton clinches.
Rush tries a body shot but Eaton blocks it.

Eaton manages to break the clinch.
Rush is looking to slow Eaton down with leg kicks.
Eaton works Rush's body with a nice hook.
Rush misses the shot to the body.

Rush gets tackled into the cage by Eaton. Eaton maintains the clinch.
Eaton stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Eaton is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Rush tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Eaton breaks the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Eaton. Rush does a little dance to reset his feet.
A chopping leg kick lands by Rush.
Rush misses with a hook. Eaton ducked under it nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Rush counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Eaton throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rush feints a counter leg kick.

Eaton misses with a body shot.
Eaton throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rush sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Eaton is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rush's half guard.
Rush is looking for a sweep. Eaton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Eaton lands with a punch from half guard.

It looks like Marquise Rush has been cut.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rush has hold of Eaton's hands but Eaton slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

That has opened up Marquise Rush's cut even more.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Eaton is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The cut above Marquise Rush's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Marquise Rush's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
