Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronald McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Art Nikisch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDonald kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is were not gonna take it. The crowd seem to be enjoying Nikisch's choice of entrance music: Hero by Skillet. Ronald McDonald has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McDonald.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Nikisch is trying to break the clinch but McDonald has him pressed against the cage.

Art Nikisch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

and McDonald counters with a nice double leg into guard.

McDonald tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Nikisch takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Nikisch's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and McDonald counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Nikisch!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
