Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Saragih (ranked 1513 p4p, 767 weight class) and Volodimir Borrisinov (ranked 121 p4p, 64 weight class). Jack Saragih could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Volodimir Borrisinov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Saragih! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Volodimir Borrisinov! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borrisinov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Borrisinov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Saragih. Borrisinov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Saragih swivels and escapes. Borrisinov avoids the body shot from Saragih.
Borrisinov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Saragih to the ground. Borrisinov is now in Saragih's guard. Saragih might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Saragih has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Borrisinov has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. We've been told by Saragih's head coaches at Champion Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Saragih buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Saragih won't allow Borrisinov to sweep him here. Borrisinov is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Borrisinov's coach down at Copes was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Borrisinov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Saragih moves into range and clinches up with Borrisinov. Saragih prevents a takedown attempt there.
