The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos swinging wildly here.
Ramos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Ramos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ribeiro, pushing him back against the cage.
Ramos gets underhooks to prevent Ribeiro's takedown attempt.

Ribeiro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ramos stuffs the takedown.
Ribeiro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ribeiro looks for a takedown but Ramos sprawls well.

Ribeiro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ramos swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ramos lands a nice hook to Ribeiro's body. Ribeiro takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Pablo Ramos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ribeiro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ramos attempts a counter takedown but Ribeiro avoids it well and moves away.
Ramos does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ramos throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ribeiro stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ramos misses with the combination.
Ramos slaps away a takedown attempt from Ribeiro, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ramos throws a series of strikes that have Ribeiro backpedaling.
Ramos pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ribeiro back to the cage. Ramos follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Ribeiro shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ramos as he avoids it easily.
Ramos changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Ribeiro is rocked!
Ribeiro get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Ribeiro stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Ramos runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
