Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kamren Rivera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Yoel Strickland! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivera gets tackled into the cage by Strickland. Strickland maintains the clinch. Strickland missing with knees to the body.
Rivera wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Strickland has him pressed against the cage. Strickland has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rivera is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Strickland tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rivera looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Strickland gets a trip takedown into half guard. Strickland seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Rivera trying to control from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strickland seems to be working for a kimura but Rivera defends the submission attempt. Strickland is taking a breather. Rivera says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Strickland wants to pass to mount but Rivera is defending the position. Rivera is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Strickland has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Rivera is tapping! This fight is all over!
