Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beaux Copper (ranked 4274 p4p, 4127 weight class) and King Vinny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Beaux Copper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Vinny! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Lou da Vinci and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vinny shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Copper on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Copper tries to get out of the position. Vinny trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Copper keeping moving, preventing Vinny from controlling successfully. Vinny thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Copper looking for a sweep. Not yet Copper, not yet. Copper wants to improve his position but instead Vinny has moved into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vinny not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vinny is looking to take a break and control but Copper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Copper tries to get to full guard but Vinny has control of the leg. Vinny has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vinny sitting and controlling from the half guard. Copper wants to control but Vinny is keeping busy.
Vinny seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Copper does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Vinny not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Copper is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Vinny is keen to just control but Copper is a slippery customer.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Vinny lands with a shot to the body. Vinny shoots in looking for a takedown but Copper manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vinny's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Copper tries to sprawl but Vinny drives through with a takedown into half guard. Copper is looking for a sweep. Vinny is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Vinny wants to control but Copper is keeping him busy. Copper wants to get back to full guard. Copper trying to get back to full guard but Vinny takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Copper is desperately trying to improve his position but Vinny has a good base and remains in mount. Vinny throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Copper because Vinny loaded up on that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Copper can't escape the position.

Copper holds on for dear life, controlling Vinny's posture momentarily. Vinny working for a submission but Copper is keeping him at bay. Copper keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vinny unloads with some shots from mount but Copper bucks and avoids them well.
Copper is looking to get to half guard. Vinny with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Vinny looking to ground and pound but Copper is blocking nicely. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
King Vinny dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Copper shoots in and bounces Vinny off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Copper with a nice head shot there. Vinny working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Copper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Copper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. King Vinny has got the better of the ground game so far. Copper trying to control but Vinny is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Copper loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's one minute gone in the round. Copper looking to sit in guard and control but Vinny gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Vinny wants to control from the top but Copper keeps moving. Vinny won't allow Copper to sweep him here. Copper working a defensive guard here.
Copper can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Vinny controls the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Copper trying to control the position.
Copper is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Vinny wants to stand but Copper is controlling his posture from full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Copper looking for a sweep. Not yet Copper, not yet. Copper looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Vinny puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vinny is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Copper tries to get to full guard but Vinny has control of the leg. Copper is looking to control Vinny's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Copper avoid being mounted?
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Vinny lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Horrible takedown attempt by Copper or perhaps it was just good defense by Vinny, which made it look bad. Vinny scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Copper scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Copper working the ground and pound. Vinny is working to avoid the ground and pound but Copper connects with a decent elbow. Copper scoring with punches and elbows. Copper is chipping away with strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Copper creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Vinny wants to control but Copper postures up. Copper controls the position from side control. Copper wants to control but Vinny is keeping him busy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Copper working away. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but King Vinny will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Copper on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Vinny dives in for a single leg takedown but Copper sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Copper closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Vinny bucks up and tries to throw Copper off but instead Copper has got his back! Copper struggling to keep hold of the position.
Vinny takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Copper has good solid back control here. Copper is not going to allow Vinny to sit and survive in this position.

Vinny trying to control the position but Copper manages to sink in the hooks. Vinny takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Copper scores with punches from the back.
Copper is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Vinny. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Vinny tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Copper tries to control but Vinny wriggling away. Copper cracks Vinny with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Copper landing punches. Copper controlling the position easily from mount. Copper with shots to the head and body - Vinny looks very uncomfortable down there. Copper punishing his opponent with strikes. A nice elbow there by Copper. Copper with the ground and pound from mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vinny working to try and regain half guard.

Copper pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Copper lands a heavy elbow. Vinny is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Copper is landing with some decent strikes but Vinny is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Copper raining down hammerfists from mount. That's four minutes gone in the round. Copper trying to control but Vinny is having none of it. Vinny tries to hold on but Copper postures up. Copper looking to control and managing it successfully. Copper punishing his opponent with strikes. Beaux Copper has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! King Vinny is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Vinny in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Beaux Copper showed his dominance in that final round. I think Vinny has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
