PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joao Cajo Branca (ranked 4452 p4p, 2350 weight class) and Death Knell (ranked 459 p4p, 280 weight class). Branca kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is original score medley. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knell rushes Branca and presses him up against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Branca fails to land.
A hook to the body from Knell.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Knell.
Knell is working Branca over against the cage.
Knell lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Knell lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

It looks like Joao Cajo Branca has been cut.
Knell lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Branca backwards.
Knell digs a right hand into Branca's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Branca's gas tank.
Branca is breathing heavily.
Knell lands a shot to the body.
Knell is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Branca gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Knell working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Knell lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Knell lands a right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Knell lands a shoulder strike.
Knell scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Knell tries a knee to the head but Branca blocks it.
Knell is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Branca is defending well.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Knell creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

A right hook to the body lands for Knell.

Knell misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Branca.
Knell is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Branca is defending well.
Joao Cajo Branca has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Death Knell.
Knell working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Knell manages to pull guard.

Knell has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Branca should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Knell has tightened it up now! Branca should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
