Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Micah Kim!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hong has closed the distance and engaged Kim in a clinch.
Hong makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Hong scores with a shoulder strike.
Kim missing with knees to the body.
Hong misses with a short punch on the inside.
Kim misses with a knee to the head.

Kim breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kim will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kim looks to land a left hand but Hong moved out of range nicely.
Hong moves away from the strike by Kim.

Hong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

I was talking to Hong's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Kim throws the left hand but Hong avoids the punch easily.

Hong ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hong is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kim.
Kim tries to bum rush Hong with a series of wild strikes but Hong uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hong was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Hong needs to keep his hands up - Kim had a free shot at his head there.
Kim looks to land a left hand but Hong moved out of range nicely.
Hong is looking to counter punch.
Kim throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hong counters with a left and a right that stings Kim.

Kim is rocked!
Kim misses with a double jab
and Hong counters with a huge right that knocks Kim out cold! Hong is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
