Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dowling misses with a double jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Williams! But no joy.
Williams misses with a series of wild punches.
Williams ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dowling moves away.
Dowling takes one to the side of the head.
Dowling lands with a good body shot.
Dowling swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Williams counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Dowling throws a body punch but Williams moves out of range.
Williams swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Williams fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dowling, pushing him back against the cage.
Williams tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Dowling drops down looking for an ankle pick but Williams pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dowling uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Williams.
Dowling avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice straight punches there by Williams. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Williams.
Dowling connects with a body shot that sends Williams's belly button to the back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Williams fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Williams lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Dowling shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Dowling lands with a punch from half guard.
Dowling slips a nice elbow through Williams's hands, connecting with Williams's forehead.

Dowling is looking for a kimura but Williams is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dowling to get the leverage.
Dowling winds up and cracks Williams with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dowling lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Dowling lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Williams is trying to stand back up but Dowling is controlling him

Dowling has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Dowling has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Williams is trying to control Dowling's posture. Dowling takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Williams! Dowling is rotating here... this could be the end... Williams is out! Dowling has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
