LaFleur has chosen Slaughter in a Grave as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Phillipe LaFleur!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Kavanagh and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaFleur getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Schoonie Jenkins has been cut.
Jenkins lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Jenkins lands with a kick to the ribs.

and LaFleur counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jenkins thinking.

Crunch! Jenkins slams his shin into LaFleur's torso.
Jenkins does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

A little jabbing left from LaFleur on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jenkins scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. LaFleur doesn't seem bothered though.
Jenkins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but LaFleur manages to avoid it.

Jenkins tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and LaFleur is able to avoid easily.
LaFleur throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jenkins turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

A little jabbing left from LaFleur on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jenkins lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Jenkins scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

LaFleur let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

That kick from Jenkins tenderised LaFleur's leg. LaFleur is trying to keep his angry face on.

LaFleur throws out a counter right but Jenkins avoids it with no problem.

Schoonie Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jenkins connects with a crisp jab.

and LaFleur counters with a crisp right hand that drops Jenkins! LaFleur lets Jenkins back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Jenkins is rocked!
Jenkins is holding his hands too far apart here. LaFleur throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Jenkins is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
