Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Roylance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Handle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Keith Roylance has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Keith Roylance! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Don Handle! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roylance fails to land the takedown. Handle misses with a body kick. Roylance shoots in and drives through. Handle sprawls well. Roylance decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Handle tries to roll over but Roylance keeps him under control. Handle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Roylance is working away from the top position though. Roylance is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Handle has managed to free his arm - good work. Handle manages to get to full guard.
Handle pulls Roylance in close to his closed guard and prevents Roylance from doing any damage or advancing position. Roylance is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Handle bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Roylance's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Handle controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Handle trying to control the position from guard on top but Roylance is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Handle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roylance swivels though and keeps the full guard. Roylance has his foot on Handle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Handle works his way back into a safe position though. Roylance is breathing heavily. Handle trying to control but Roylance is working from the bottom. Handle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Handle throwing strikes from guard but Roylance blocks nicely. Roylance looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Handle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roylance swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Roylance closes the distance and clinches up with Handle, looking for a takedown. Roylance pushes Handle against the cage but Handle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keith Roylance. That's going to take a lot out of him. Roylance swats away the attempt to clinch by Handle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Roylance fails to land the takedown. Handle scores with a takedown into Roylance's guard. Handle pushing down on Roylance's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Handle passes to side control. A lull in the action here as Handle stalls from top position. Roylance tries to get back to half guard but can't. Handle decides to stand back up. Handle steps back and let's Roylance get back to his feet. Roylance misses with a takedown attempt and Handle counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Roylance! Roylance is looking to improve his position but Handle isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Handle looking to control but Roylance is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Handle scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Roylance is trying desperately to improve position. Handle tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Handle trying to control but he's not successful this time. Handle prevents Roylance from getting the reversal. Handle stands up from mount. Strange move. Handle rushes Roylance and presses him up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roylance stops a takedown attempt from Handle.
Roylance tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Handle smiles and moves away.
Handle with a poor takedown and Roylance counters with a nice double leg into guard. Handle is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Handle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Roylance can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Handle tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Roylance is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Handle lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Roylance! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Handle dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Handle shoots and misses and Roylance counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Roylance. Handle wants to stand but Roylance is controlling the position. Roylance drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roylance jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Roylance pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Handle is keeping the position for now. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Handle pulls Roylance in close to prevent any damage. Roylance postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Handle is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Roylance, into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Handle sitting in guard here, content to control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Roylance looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Handle has picked Roylance up and slammed him! Roylance can't keep hold of the triangle and Handle manages to pass to side control! Roylance is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Handle's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Handle is working for a kimura but Roylance is defending it quite comfortably.
Roylance looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Well, if Handle is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roylance looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Handle pushes past his half guard into mount! Roylance is trying desperately to improve position. Roylance looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Roylance tries to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Good control from Handle.

Handle is trying to stick to Roylance's back but Roylance is turning into Handle. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Handle's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Roylance. Roylance is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Handle is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Handle has escaped and now he's on top! Handle sitting in guard, not really doing much. Handle avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

A close second round but Don Handle will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Roylance's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Roylance isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Handle stacks Roylance on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Handle! Roylance is not content to let Handle control the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

He's shot a load of snot all down Roylance's shoulder. That is not cool. Handle passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Roylance! Handle landing strikes from the mount and Roylance is in trouble! Roylance is trying desperately to improve position. Roylance is squirming around, avoiding Handle's attempts to control the action. Roylance looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Roylance prevents Handle from getting a body triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Roylance manages to reverse the position and now he's in Handle's guard. Nice work there by Roylance.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Roylance gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Handle counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Handle. Roylance tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Handle advances position into side control! Roylance tries to buck Handle off but Handle is having none of it. Roylance is not content to let Handle control the position. Roylance tries to improve position but can't.
And that's the end of the fight! Don Handle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Handle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
