Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Skoog (ranked 2065 p4p, 2183 weight class) and Saul Singer (ranked 250 p4p, 260 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jimmy Skoog! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Saul Singer! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Singer does no damage. Singer takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Saul Singer has been cut. Singer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Singer misses with a series of wild punches.
Skoog is looking for a counter combo. Singer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Skoog looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Skoog lands with a cross. Skoog throws the left hand but Singer avoids the punch easily. Skoog lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Skoog lands a nice hook to Singer's body. Singer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Singer walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Skoog checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Singer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Skoog drops Singer with a beautiful combination! Singer stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Skoog is looking for the KO!
Singer is rocked! Singer connects with a good right hand that stumbles Skoog. Skoog circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Singer is still on wobbly legs! Can Skoog finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. Skoog lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Singer falls backwards - clearly groggy! Skoog dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Skoog! A relieved looking Jimmy Skoog thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
