The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Slimm with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Donnie Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones throws a hook but Slimm avoids it easily.
Despite the aggression on Slimm's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Slimm.
Slimm is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Jones throws a body shot but no joy.
Slimm shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Slimm gets a double leg takedown into Jones's guard.
Jones working for a triangle but Slimm defends it easily.
Jones looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Slimm is defending well. Jones quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Slimm has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Jones celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
