The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hauser paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Whitaker digs a good hook to Hauser's body.
Hauser throws out a loose jab but Whitaker uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hauser cracks Whitaker with an open hand slap.
A jab from Whitaker misses.
Whitaker looks to score with a jab to the body but Hauser is just out of range.
Whitaker stuns Hauser with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Reginald Whitaker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Whitaker lands a really nice looking cross but Hauser seems unphased.

It looks like Alvin Hauser has been cut.
Whitaker throws a looping overhand right but Hauser ducks down to avoid it.
Hauser scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Whitaker doesn't seem bothered though.

Hauser uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Whitaker has time to react.

Whitaker drops Hauser with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Hauser! Whitaker dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
