Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Black (ranked 4136 p4p, 4099 weight class) and Jimmy McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 439 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mario Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jimmy McCarthy!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarthy lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Mario Black has been cut.
McCarthy tries to move into range but Black moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Black rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McCarthy counters with a shoot takedown. Black fights it but they end up in guard.
McCarthy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
McCarthy takes a little break here. Black wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
McCarthy decides to stand up, so the ref orders Black to his feet.
Black getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McCarthy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Black scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
McCarthy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Black did well to prevent McCarthy getting side control.
McCarthy slows the pace down in half guard.
Black knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McCarthy on the ground.
Black tries to roll over but McCarthy keeps him under control.
McCarthy keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McCarthy stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Mario Black is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Black checks a leg kick.
Left hook, right uppercut from McCarthy.
Black throws an ugly left hook that misses
and McCarthy counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McCarthy not doing much here.
McCarthy works his way into side control.
Black is trying to escape the position but McCarthy is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McCarthy decides to stand up, so the ref orders Black to his feet.
Decent striking displayed by Black there.
Black jabs McCarthy right on the nose. McCarthy blinks but takes it well.
Black with a body punch. A glancing blow.
McCarthy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Black cracks McCarthy with a good jab.
McCarthy looks to land a combination but Black avoids it well.
McCarthy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Black's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
McCarthy content to stall in guard here.
McCarthy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
McCarthy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy McCarthy dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mario Black's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Black swings away with a body shot that misses
and Black takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Black throws out a loose jab but McCarthy uses good head movement to avoid it.
McCarthy gets in close and instigates a clinch.
McCarthy is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Black gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
McCarthy can't break the clinch.
Black working aggressively here.
Black dodges an elbow strike from McCarthy.
Black tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCarthy ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McCarthy no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
McCarthy is pulling down on Black's head to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McCarthy has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Black doesn't defend quickly enough and McCarthy has managed to lock this one up! Can Black escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to McCarthy on a fantastic submission victory.
